Title: Sales & Brand Representative – Auckland & Waikato

Position: Full time

Company Overview: Established in 2020, Wilson & Lawrence t/a Imagination Distilling is a rapidly growing New Zealand craft distillery. Currently specializing in Gin spirit, the products are marketed under the brand imagination. The name imagination represents the ingenuity and anything-is-possible attitude that epitomises the New Zealand spirit that binds us together as one people. Growth projection and product development mean constantly growing and evolving opportunities.

Job Summary Brief: We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate and solution orientated person to partner with our customers in the Auckland and Waikato regions. First and foremost, Sales & Brand representatives at Wilson & Lawrence Ltd are required to constantly develop and build relationships with current and potential customers. The Sales & Brand reps are responsible for communicating the benefits of the company’s products in order to drive sales. Sales & brand reps serve as the point of contact between our business and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients to a high relationship level, driving customer engagements with in-store tastings, partnering with our customers in organising and implementing imagination events.

Duties & Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Sales & Brand Representative include but are not limited to the following:

• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Build relationships, both personal and professional, with customers., visiting them on a monthly basis to service needs and promote imagination products.
• Generate and following up on leads
• Coordinate, prepare and attend company related shows and festivals around the country as requested.
• Coordinate and carry out in-store tastings for customers
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction
• Coordinate sales efforts and marketing promotions with team members
• Maintain and drive company sales platforms to maximise efficiencies. Currently Capsule CMR
• Continuously improve company processes
• Review monthly sales reports and monitor progress against management provided KPIs
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required
• Manage credit control of customers within nominated region
• Ad-hoc tasks as requested

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a passion for premium drinks, industry experience, or a hospitality background – experience in sales is not essential
• Have strong communication, creative and relationship building skills
• Be highly organised and have good attention to detail
• Be self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Be comfortable working irregular weekly hours occasionally and staying away from home overnight
• Be eager to learn and grow with solution-based mindset
• Be driven by results and be familiar with CRM and Excel software.
• Hold a full drivers licence
